Job Description
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of various machinery. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment such as mixers, saws, conveyors, and more. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our production lines.
ResponsibilitiesOil and grease production equipment to keep it functioning optimally.Troubleshoot and repair production equipment malfunctions as reported by line supervisors.Test operate production machinery before and after repairs.Inspect and maintain all production equipment as necessary and as scheduled.Operate drills, saws, grinders, welding apparatus, presses, and various manual tools for repairs and maintenance.Monitor and maintain building and grounds functions including plumbing, electrical wiring, and painting.Communicate progress of repair work, potential problems, and general functioning to line supervisors and incoming maintenance shifts.Write up and submit requests for parts as necessary to facilitate repairs and maintenance.Record and maintain all relevant maintenance work completed and keep a logbook of daily activities.Coordinate maintenance efforts with outside machinery technicians for expedient and proper repair.Make equipment adjustments as requested by line supervisors to assist machine operators with accurate functioning of precision production equipment.Essential SkillsExperience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance.Proficiency in troubleshooting and conveyor maintenance.Ability to read blueprints and handle electrical and compressor systems.High school diploma or GED required.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work the 2nd shift from 1:30 to 10 PM, Monday through Friday. The work environment includes exposure to loud noise, food-grade dust and odors, moving and vibrating machinery, heavy equipment, powered industrial trucks, and various weather conditions. Allergens present include fish, shellfish, nuts, eggs, wheat, soy, milk, and coconut.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
