The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks across multiple disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic. With a focus on machinery and facility equipment, troubleshooting malfunctions, completing preventative maintenance, and making repairs as needed. They must have experience in reading blueprints and utilizing various hand and power tools to keep production running efficiently. The role will keep the equipment in the facility maintained and functioning to support the needs of operations and our customers (internal/external)

This is an onsite role in our Mt Juliet TN facility with a schedule of Friday - Monday, 5AM – 3.30PM.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job? 

Regularly inspecting and servicing machinery according to manufacturer's guidelines, including lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments to prevent breakdowns.Diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment, including motors, conveyors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and control panels.Performing electrical repairs like replacing wiring, fuses, and motor control components, adhering to safety standards.Disassembling and repairing mechanical components such as bearings, gears, belts, and pumps.Ability to review technical drawings and equipment manuals to understand system layouts and perform repairs correctly.May need to fabricate small parts for repairs using tools like welders or machine shop equipmentMaintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures while working on machineryComplete 40 hours of training each year as required to maintain certification

 
What are the requirements needed for this position? 

High school diploma or general education (GED) and/or equivalent combination of education1+  years of electrical, mechanical or multi-craft maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environmentAbility to make sound judgments and escalate pertinent issues to upper management when necessaryWilling to work in various areas of the production and facilityAbility to follow oral and written instructions related to routine proceduresAbility to work with minimal supervision and work cooperatively with multiple departments to complete all tasks as assignedAbility to troubleshoot and repair robots, conveyors, cameras, polishing equipment, and shrink wrap systemsWilling and able to wear various types of Personal Protective Equipment as required; follow all safety rules and practicesCertified or willing and able to become certified in all the following OSHA safety disciplines Lockout/Tag OutWilling to work Overtime, Weekends and Off-Shift hours when necessaryAbility to use a wide range of hand tools and power tools safely and effectivelyAble to work well with other Maintenance techs, Operators, and Leaders. Teach the operators on basic equipment trouble shootingExcellent problem-solving skills to diagnose equipment malfunctions Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Familiarity with CMMS software for data entry and reporting

Pay Range:

$ 20,49 - $ 33,81

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
