Salary Range: $62,400 - 79,040- DOE
The Maintenance Technician is an integral part of our Maintenance team based out of our facility in Santa Fe Springs, CA.
Responsibilities:Perform preventive maintenance tasks on pumps, compressors, rotating machinery, boilers, and cooling towersCalibrate, maintain, and program process sensors and controllersPerform maintenance projects including welding, mechanical assembly and repair, and some carpentryMaintain and repair:AOD pumpsCentrifugal pumpsGearboxes and agitatorsPerform pipe repair and new installations (PVC, CPVC, Carbon, and Stainless Steel)Assist the Maintenance Engineering Manager on capital, environmental, and process improvement projectsTroubleshoot electrical systems and components in the plantInstall new electrical cabinets, conduits, and other electrical componentsMaintaining and programming PLCs, display panels, and SCADA systems is a plus
Basic Hiring Criteria: High School diploma or equivalentMinimum five years of experience in a manufacturing or production facility (Chemical processing, oil refinery, oil/lubricant distribution facility are preferred)Previous HazMat experience preferred
Desired Qualifications:Able to operate industrial equipment, including forklifts, man-lifts, and other types of motorized equipmentRead and understand engineering/electrical drawings and schematicsCapable of troubleshooting electrical issuesTechnical knowledge of industrial processes, industrial parts, and suppliesAbility to effectively communicate with all levels within the organizationStrong experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointSense of urgency in minimizing downtimeExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsA track record of working well on high-performance teamsOrganized and able to plan for tasksComfortable with computers and Microsoft Office ProgramsFlexible to handle different problems
