Job Description
A large midstream operator is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Charleston, South Carolina! This person will serve as a general member of the maintenance crew and report to the Terminal's Maintenance Supervisor. Some of the day to day responsibilities include:
Diagnose problems and maintain a variety of material bulk handling equipment
Assist in the transportation and movement of mechanical bulk handling equipment
Assembles and installs equipment such as drive motors, conveyors, and pulley assemblies
Perform stick welding and/or cutting torch operations as needed
Aligns machines and equipment for proper operation
Assembles machines, and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures
Repairs and lubricates material bulk handling machines and equipment
Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and safety devices on equipment, and makes adjustments
Operates a variety of equipment such as cutting torch, welder, forklift, hand tools and electric meters
Lubricates moving parts, examines and operates repaired equipment to verify equipment conformance to specifications

Skills and Requirements
- 3+ years experience with conveying and material handling systems
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience operating a forklift
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to obtain TWIC null
