**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for flushing water systems to mitigate Legionella risks in a manufacturing or clean room environment.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
+ Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make necessary repairs.
+ Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
+ Review assigned work orders and utilize available systems to track and document completion.
+ Support energy management initiatives by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.
+ Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
+ Perform routine flushing of water systems to mitigate Legionella risk in compliance with safety protocols.
+ Monitor and document water temperatures, flow rates, and flushing schedules to support water hygiene standards.
+ Support audits and reporting related to water hygiene and Legionella prevention programs.
+ Use established procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly and concisely.
+ Contribute to team success through defined duties, methods, and tasks.
+ Deliver consistent results by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
+ Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
