Maintenance Technician

Currently hiring 2nd shift Maintenance Technicians in the Lockport, IL area. Hiring immediately.

Shift: 2nd shift. (3pm-11pm)

Will train on 1st shift for a month or so.

Pay (PAID WEEKLY): $30-35/hr.

Job DescriptionConduct preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of machinery including extrusion and injection mold machinery.Troubleshoot and repair all equipmentRead and interpret blueprints and schematics.Troubleshoot PLCs using software for platforms such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi.Perform both electrical and mechanicalWork with various drives and motors.Utilize ladder logic for efficient troubleshooting.Maintain personal tool inventory for job responsibilities.Essential Skills3-5+ years of experience with extrusion or injection molding equipment.Certification in Electrical or Maintenance, including knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, blueprints, schematics, welding, and repair.General maintenance coursework or electrical proficiency.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Ownership of personal tools.Work Environment

This position operates on the manufacturing floor and maintenance shop, which is clean and temperature-controlled. You will work alongside 2-3 other electricians and mechanics

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
