Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be entrusted with ensuring the seamless operation of food manufacturing lines. This includes performing preventive maintenance on packaging equipment, conveyors, rollers, and three-phase motors. The primary product handled is apples.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment.Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on production equipment using hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.Ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.Collaborate with a team to maintain operational efficiency.Essential SkillsMechanical skills and aptitude for repair and maintenance.Proficiency in using hand tools for equipment adjustments and repairs.2-3+ years of maintenance experience in a production environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in food, beverage, or packaging industry is preferred but not required.2-3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a cold room environment with temperatures between 40-45 degrees. You will be part of a maintenance team of 6-8 members in a plant with over 80 production workers and warehouse associates. Safety shoes are provided by the company. The first shift starts at 6 AM or 7 AM, Monday through Friday, with additional work on Saturdays (2-3 per month) expected as the team becomes fully operational later in the year.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $36.00/hr.
