Responsibilities 1st Shift - 6:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday, Friday 6:30 am to 2:30 pm and overtime as needed Pay Grade: HR999 # of Openings: 1 Now hiring for a Maintenance Technician at our Pittsfield, New Hampshire plant. Responsibilities will include the following: Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial sewing machines Diagnose mechanical issues to minimize downtime and support production Conduct routine preventative maintenance on sewing equipment per established schedules Assist with machine setups, adjustments, and calibrations for different materials or sewing operations Maintain records of repairs, maintenance, and part replacements Ensure machines meet safety and operational standards at all times Collaborate with production staff to support smooth machine operation Identify worn or defective parts and assist with sourcing replacements Support equipment upgrades or installations under guidance from senior staff Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Qualifications Requirements: Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills. Ability to stand, bend, walk and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Willingness to learn sewing machine repair and adjustment (extensive training provided). Experience with hand and power tools. Ability to read and follow technical instructions, diagrams, manuals, or procedures. Good attention to detail and manual dexterity. Basic understanding of mechanical systems (gears, belts, motors, etc.). Basic experience with computers and Microsoft Office. Ability to lift 50lbs. Overtime as required. Positive attitude with a focus on teamwork and reliability. High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred: 3-5 years previous experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or equipment repair preferred. #LI-MI1 #LI-ONSITE
