Insight Global has an immediate need for a Maintenance Technician to support various mechanical and Industrial Wastewater services in our Plainville, Connecticut office. This position offers a diverse mix of projects and hands-on experience across several service areas and operating divisions. The primary role involves field installations for industrial projects and systems, focusing on plumbing installs and operations/maintenance (O&M) activities. The Maintenance technician will perform plumbing installations and various O&M tasks in industrial manufacturing settings, either independently or as part of a crew of up to four technicians. Typical tasks include installing plastic, copper, or steel pipe/tubing, and handling industrial pumps or mixers. Manual dexterity, technical skills, project understanding, and mechanical aptitude are crucial for success. Reading instructions from work plans, manuals, drawings, and schematics is essential. Training and adherence to safety practices are mandatory while performing all field activities.
