Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join a team that manufactures high-end stainless steel kitchen appliances, including stoves, microwaves, and fridges. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be a versatile expert, handling both mechanical and electrical tasks rather than specializing in just one area. You'll work on repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance for all plant equipment, including lasers, presses, robots, automated conveyor lines, thermo-forming machines, and foam-forming machines. The role also involves minor welding and fabrication, with contracted services for high-end electrical and forklift maintenance.

ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on plant equipment.Work with fab equipment, lasers, presses, robots, automated conveyor lines, thermo-forming machines, and foam-forming machines.Conduct minor welding and fabrication tasks.Engage in electrical work up to 480v and PLC troubleshooting, primarily with Allen Bradley and some Siemens systems.Participate in special projects as needed.Provide your own basic tools; more expensive tools are supplied.Essential SkillsExperience as an industrial maintenance technician.Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics repair.Ability to conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.Understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints.PLC troubleshooting skills.Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications2-year technical degree.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work on the 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The facility is one of the cleanest and well-kept manufacturing sites in Southern WI, spanning 600,000 sq feet. It is automated and climate-controlled, maintaining a comfortable 72 degrees. The maintenance team aims to expand to 9 technicians on the 2nd shift and 9 on the 3rd shift. You'll have the flexibility to work up to 60 hours based on workload, with options for project-based tasks that are minimal during the week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
