Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, repairing equipment, and training production personnel.

ResponsibilitiesParticipate in plant safety, health, and environmental programs.Complete all maintenance service requests as assigned.Maintain spare part inventory controls for cost-effective operations.Assist with successful audits in the area of maintenance.Implement and coordinate maintenance plans with the production department.Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment, including mixers, conveyors, compressors, and pumps.Repair or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters, etc. as needed.Perform work order repairs, inspections, and maintenance on machines at regular intervals.Implement corrective measures concerning quality improvement.Keep the maintenance shop clean and organized.Essential SkillsProficiency in maintenance repairAbility to troubleshoot and repair equipmentExperience in maintaining spare part inventoryKnowledge of plant machinery and equipment maintenanceFamiliarity with control devices such as switches and sensorsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in successful audits in maintenanceAbility to implement and coordinate maintenance plansSkill in performing work order repairs and inspections
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
