Job Description 
Continental in Norfolk Nebraska has a need for Maintenance Technicians with an Electro-Mechanical or related degree or has a minimum of 5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience in areas listed in this job posting. This individual will perform a variety of duties involved in the installation, alterations, maintenance, development and repair of plant machinery, equipment, facilities, and structures.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT 

Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of mechanical, electrical and manufacturing equipment and machinerySet up and operate machining tools such as engine lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinders, alter or construct replacement parts, recondition production toolingMaintain plant plumbing, heating, cooling, and related facilities and equipmentRead and understand electrical diagrams and blueprintsKnowledge of PLCS, electronic and mechanical systemsBasic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systemsIdentify and resolve problems before they become costlyWelding, fabrication and machining skillsComputer skills in Microsoft OfficeKnowledge and utilization of lean manufacturing toolsAssume the job of temporary team leader on a rotational basisGood verbal and written communication skills to communicate with all levels of the organizationRequired to maintain certifications of plant safety and housekeeping practicesUnderstanding of lean manufacturingWork in a fast pace environment with changing prioritiesUnderstanding of lean manufacturingOther duties as necessary

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE / BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

A 2 ­year Electro ­Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or related degree OR has a minimum of 5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience with experience in areas listed in this job posting.Willing to work rotating shifts (days to nights)Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
