Looking to build a hands-on career in maintenance? You’ll receive on-the-job training and work closely with experienced leadership as you develop valuable skills in facility maintenance, equipment repair, and safety procedures.
What You’ll Do:
Assist with preventative maintenance and minor repairs on machinery, equipment, and facility systems
Learn how to inspect and maintain sensors, switches, and other automated components
Support basic inspections of refrigeration systems
Perform routine checks and upkeep of material handling equipment
Operate tools and equipment such as power tools, cutting torches, and motorized lifts
Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Take on additional hands-on tasks to support the team as needed
What You’ll Bring:
Trade school training or basic experience in maintenance, equipment repair, or refrigeration (preferred but not required)
Comfort using power tools and hand tools
Basic computer skills and the ability to follow instructions
Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
Ability to problem-solve and stay organized in a dynamic environment
Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions—from cold storage (-20°F / -25°C) to dry storage (up to 100°F / 37°C)
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs (23 kg) and work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
Some locations may require working at heights and adapting to loud environments
