The Maintenance Technician is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to the maintenance and repair of our state-of-the-art corporate campus. We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of facilities or commercial construction experience that is eager to learn and likes to get the job done right! Your knowledge and skills will be tested and developed working on carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC projects across over 2 Million square feet of commercial office space. The shift for this opening is 11am-8pm.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGAssist Building Engineers on tasks throughout the building
Performing minor maintenance, carpentry, and painting
Providing courteous, high-quality service to team members by personally responding to requests for service
Providing any needed assistance to team members, vendors, and visitors
Responding to emergency situations in each building
Monday through Friday hours, however, may be required to work nights, days, holidays and weekends
Meeting the physical requirements of the job and the ability to work in the environmental conditions listed below to perform common assistant engineer functions and duties
Performing all duties in a safe manner, following all safety procedures
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOUWorking knowledge of commercial HVAC, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing preferred
Relevant certifications or Trade School diploma for HVAC (Universal 608) preferred
Knowledgeable use of tools of the trade required
Must demonstrate good moral fitness and ethical standards
Make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and proceduresMust be detailed oriented and have satisfactory literacy and writing, documentation, communications, and interpersonal abilitiesMust be proficient at computer-based programs in Microsoft and web based platformsBe able to work alone responsibly and without supervision and able to be on call once on a rotational basis.
