Job Responsibilities: Shared responsibility for the achievement of production targets (OEE)Performs preventive maintenance activities as well as optimization of the existing production plantProcurement and management of spare partsEnsuring compliance with all legal standardsAnalysis of weak points and/or risks and initiation and implementation of appropriate remedial measuresTeaching and programming of robotsMonitoring and participation in the assembly and installation of new equipment and conversions of existing facilitiesResponsibility for ensuring occupational safety and health protection in your area of activityIndependent implementation of projects of various sizes with regard to conversion and repair workTechnical competence in the area of automation technology and plant engineeringParticipation in FMEAs

Requirements:

Degree in a technical field or 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a production environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience with welding steel a plus.Experience in automotive manufacturing a plus.Experience in programming robots (KUKA preferred)Experienced in pneumatic and hydraulic systemsProgramming knowledge (Siemens Simatic TIA Portal V15 and upgraded versions)Relevant professional experience in the manufacturing industry preferably automotiveSAP knowledge (creation of maintenance plans and spare parts requirements)Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
