Job Title: Maintenance Technician III - 3rd Shift
Job Summary: Advanced-level position responsible for conducting and leading complex maintenance operations, troubleshooting high-level mechanical issues and overseeing preventative maintenance programs. Acts as technical expert and mentor within the maintenance team, coordinates with vendors and contractors, and ensures reliability and safety of all CNC and facility systems. Requires extensive experience and leadership capabilities.
Responsibility:
Lead complex maintenance and repair tasks on CNC machinery and facility systems. Diagnose and resolve advanced mechanical issues using expert-level troubleshooting techniques. Fabricate custom parts and perform high-precision repairs using advanced tools and welding equipment. Oversee preventative maintenance programs and ensure compliance with schedules and documentation. Manage inventory systems and coordinate ordering of tools, parts, and supplies. Operate and troubleshoot facility control systems and utility monitoring software. Respond to critical maintenance issues and coordinate emergency repairs. Perform and oversee general facility maintenance and ensure building systems are functioning properly. Enforce safety standards and mentor junior technicians on best practices. Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and engineering teams as needed. Serve as a technical resource and leader within the maintenance team.Academic/Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or GED (required)
Associate degree in Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field is highly preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of formal degrees or certifications
Required Skills/Experience:
5+ years of progressive maintenance experience, including leadership or mentoring responsibilities.
Advanced knowledge of CNC systems, mechanical diagnostics, and fabrication.
Possess advanced knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical concepts.
Leads complex repairs and emergency response efforts.
Skilled in welding, machining, and custom part fabrication.
Oversees preventative maintenance programs and inventory management.
Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
May coordinate with vendors, contractors, or engineering teams.
