Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift
Install, repair, and maintain all equipment and facilities. Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections and running adjustmentsto maintain maximum production and quality. Examine and test equipment after repairs, changeovers, or extended downtime. Record operational data, such as pressure readings, lengthof stroke, feeds, and speeds for use in set-up and preventive maintenance records. ReviewProduction System Efficiency and Quality System Efficiency workshops to support continuous improvement; propose and implement continuous productivity, process, and quality improvement actions for allfacilities. Facilitate equipment moves on the shop floor. Give advice on technical specifications of new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities, making sure manufacturing, maintainability and Health, Safety & Environmental requirements are met.  Set up requisitions for supplies, equipment, and facilities. Participate in themanagement of the inventory of spare parts and consumables to eliminate downtime. Keep most recent documentation related to maintenance. All other duties as assigned.

Required Education Level:
Technical School
Area of Study:     Specialization in Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or similar.
*Equivalent workexperience may also be considered for this position.

Required Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge):

3-5 Minimum Years of Experience with Maintenance / Engineering.
3-5 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry

Abilityto read and understand hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic prints. Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues – 24v dc, 120v, 240v, and 3 phase electronic circuits. Experience operating basic shop tools.  High level of mechanical aptitude. Time management- sense of urgency Proven ability to undertake tasks of substantial variety and/or complexity, which require an extensive knowledge of fabrication/processing techniques, tools, materials, machines, and equipment. 

Preferred Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge):
Journeyman Electrical License.

Experience troubleshootingand maintaining a wide variety of equipment including but not limited to – light assembly, plastic welding technology, injection molding machines, slush machines, foam in place equipment, robots. Welding experience. PLC troubleshooting and programming skills. ExcellentElectrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic circuit troubleshooting. Knowledge of PLC’s – Allen Bradley and Siemens
