Your Role: 

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Maintenance Calibration Technician 2 for the St. Louis Manufacturing Facility. This position is responsible for performing calibration activities and instrumentation repair and ensuring that these activities are consistent with user’s/manufacturer’s requirements and site quality standards.

This position is based in St. Louis at 3500 Dekalb Street.

 

Responsibilities:

Calibrate, and maintain equipment as per site requirementsEstablish calibration procedures for different types and brands of lab and production equipmentReview calibration certificates generated by contractors for accuracy, completeness, and technical elementsCoordinate calibration activities with vendorsMaintain calibration schedule to avoid any overdue eventsMaintain Metrology standards in a controlled and calibrated stateWrite and execute equipment calibration procedures that are effective, efficient and in alignment with industry best practicesSupport validation engineers for equipment qualification and commissioning activitiesInteract with cross-functional groups to coordinate activities and ensure effective communicationEffectively solve technical problems and form solutions/plans to mitigate issues independentlyEfficiently use Microsoft programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of experience performing calibration activities and scheduling vendor calibrationsValid driver’s license

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Associate's Degree or trade school degree in controls, automation, or topic 2+ years of experience performing calibration activities and scheduling vendor calibrations
