Your Role:

 

The Maintenance Technician 1 at MilliporeSigma will support the maintenance activities at the Sheboygan Falls site. The Maintenance Tech will repair equipment, facilities, and utility systems and assist in keeping the entire site running by completing corrective and preventive maintenance work orders. In addition, the technician will complete predictive maintenance tasks to improve equipment reliability and life cycles. Daily tasks include the following:

 

Diagnose and repair electrical, control, and utility systems (VFDs, boilers, chillers, HVAC)Maintain and repair diverse plant and EHS equipment using schematics and precision toolsUtilize CMMS software for work management and documentationOperate industrial vehicles, including forklifts and manliftsDrive process improvements and direct other technicians and contractorsEnsure adherence to all safety protocols (LOTO, confined space, hot work)Must be available for on-call rotation, weekend shifts, and occasional travelShift/hours:  3rd shift - 11:00 PM - 7:30 PM, Sun - Thu

 

Who you are:

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

 

High School Diploma or GED 1+ year of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, or other maintenance disciplineCertifications in refrigerant appliance and HVAC electronic controlsUnderstand materials of construction and chemical compatibility    Demonstrated leadership skillsAbility to work independentlyExcellent teamwork and interpersonal skills Good documentation practices in Computer Maintenance Management Systems
