The maintenance technician will conduct day to day maintenance and preventative maintenance operations on all AlloyWorks’s production equipment and plant facilities. Their responsibility is to ensure safe and productive operations, minimize downtime to facilitate in delivering products that meet customer and quality requirements on time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following as well as other duties that may be assigned.
Must adhere to safe working policies and proceduresActively participate and support safety initiatives to ensure compliance with applicable OSHA (federal and state), company, and environmental policies and proceduresPlant mechanic with focus on preventative and repair maintenance on production machinery, motors, conveyors, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsInstall parts/instruments according to schematics or operation manualFollow blueprints, sketches, job requests, code book or operation manualsMaintain records of PM and unscheduled maintenance workOrder parts or supplies when necessaryAssist production as necessary to maintain material throughputAssist production as needed with equipment set-ups or root cause analysisActively participate and support continuous improvement initiativesCoordinate maintenance activities with management and production team to maximize utilization of plant equipment and operating efficiencyEDUCATION
