Maintenance Technician, Lead Liquid Bulk Receiver

As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs at the Quebec City facility, ensuring everything operates smoothly and safely.

You will report to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Handle preventive maintenance and the repairs on our paint production equipment.

Maintenance of our pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical equipment like: Pumps, valves, valve actuators, high speed dispersers belt engines, filtration systems.

Daily Inspection of the plant forklifts.

Follow 5S rules and make floor audits.

Monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, eyewash stations and emergency lights.

Maintain clean floors and walls. Handle painting as needed at the end of production season (October to March).

Receive and unload liquid bulk trucks following PPG rules.

Supervision of external contractors as needed.

Collaboration with site personnel where help is needed (Ex: at the filling station and at the shipping/receiving departments, etc.).

Qualifications

High School Diploma.

Analytical and observation skills needed.

IT knowledge (Ex: Maintenance software FIXX).

Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects.

Ability to drive a forklift (training available).

Availability outside regular hours during the high season. (March to September).

Fluency in French and English required.

Inspection quotidienne des chariots élévateurs de l'usine.

Suivre les règles 5S et effectuer des audits de plancher.

Inspections mensuelles des extincteurs, des douches oculaires et des éclairages d'urgence.

Maintenir la propreté des sols et des murs. Effectuer les travaux de peinture au besoin à la fin de la saison de production (d'octobre à mars).

Recevoir et décharger les camions de vrac liquide conformément aux règles PPG.

Superviser les entrepreneurs externes au besoin.

Collaborer avec le personnel du site lorsque nécessaire (p. ex., à la station-service et aux services d'expédition et de réception, etc.).

Qualifications

Diplôme d'études secondaires.

Compétences analytiques et d'observation requises.

Connaissances informatiques (ex. : logiciel de maintenance FIXX).

Endurance physique et dextérité manuelle pour effectuer des tâches manuelles et soulever des objets lourds.

Capacité à conduire un chariot élévateur (formation disponible).

Disponibilité en dehors des heures normales de travail pendant la haute saison (de mars à septembre).

Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais requise.
