The position is responsible for supporting manufacturing by executing on a preventative maintenance
program that is compliant with our ISO 9001 QMS requirements. The Maintenance Technician Lead
works with both internal and external resources to resolve equipment failures to ensure that down time is
limited and equipment is performing as intended. This role will also collaborate with various functional
areas to identify and improve equipment and/or processes. Works on assignments requiring considerable
judgement and initiative.
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoots and repairs process machinery and hydraulic equipment;
• Attends regularly scheduled safety meetings and may be asked to serve on Safety
Committee;
• Responsible for cleanliness of equipment and regularly scheduled safety inspections
• Provides direction and leadership for the maintenance crew and daily activities and
duties;
• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, and the facilities;
• Conducts inspections of own and others work in accordance with company
requirements;
• Installing power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment
such as robots, conveyors and programmable controllers;
• Diagnosing malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors and gear boxes and
then replacing the damaged parts;
• Perform routine preventative maintenance per established PM program;
• Works with EHS and/or plant leadership on safety procedures and policies to ensure a
safe work environment.
• Assists other Maintenance personnel in troubleshooting/delivery and applying job
documents
• Trains other Maintenance personnel
• Full knowledge of job-related policies/procedures
• Interacts effectively with internal stakeholders/external stakeholder to resolve complex
problems
• Complies with all required safety practices and regulations
• Complies with all required safety practices and use of PPE
• Builds productive working relationships internally, generally within the immediate
department/team, but also other key departments (i.e Operations)

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
+ High School or equivalent
+ 2-4 years experience
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Fluent level of English (written and verbal) as well as local language as applicable
+ Ability to lead others and projects
+ Ability to lead teams to completion of projects.
Key Skills and Competencies:
• Ability to locate and install new plant equipment.
• Ability to wear required safety equipment.
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment using diagrams and blueprints and repair electrical, hydraulic and
pneumatic mechanical systems.
