Job Description:
The individual will work closely with the maintenance lead technician and operators on a daily basis in order to perform troubleshooting for machinery repairs and preventative maintenance.
Essential Functions:
Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.Perform precision machine repairs.Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of machines.Use Computerized Maintenance Management System.Travel between plants including Troy, Piqua, and Kings Chapel.Qualifications
Position requires experience in a manufacturing environment with a 2- year Electronics degree (preferably electro-mechanical). Mechanical, electrical and pneumatic/hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills. Measurement, layout, drilling reaming and threading as well as welding and cutting are required. Understanding of mechanical drive systems and bearing maintenance / replacement. Ability to work at heights using proper equipment. Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and prints. Ability to use test & measurement equipment such as multimeters, calipers, micrometers. Experience with PLCs, VFDs and Electrical Control systems. A team player who possesses an excellent attitude. Willing to pursue further education – particularly regarding electrical control systems. Self-directed and able to work with little direct supervision. Use logical thinking and the ability to analyze cause and effect situations. Capacity to address several issues or problems simultaneously.
