This position is primarily responsible for Equipment / Facilities Maintenance of production equipment and maintaining the facilities in a fully functional state. Operator follows written and verbal specifications by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow all safety requirements and learn new safety requirements as required.\n\n\nCompletion of PM Program for the production equipment and facilities maintenance.\n\n\nCompletion of Work Requests that are generated by other departments.\n\n\nWorks from a computer to update PM’s and Work Request to stay current with ISO audits.\n\n\nWork at heights up to 35’ from an aerial lift.\n\n\nWorking outside in the winter is required to maintain safe walkways.\n\n\nCompletes safety training to stay current with EHS requirements. \n\n\nAll work shall be done according to the priority standards.\n\n\n Drive company vehicle to make pick-ups of needed parts for the Maintenance Dept.\n\n\n Have the ability to be on call after general hours and weekends for emergency work.\n\n\n Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working area at all times.\n\n\n Additional duties as assigned.\n\n\nACCOUNTABILITY:
Works proficiently and accurately to control costs while maintaining high quality standards.

\n\n\nMust have a well-rounded background in Facilities maintenance Electrical Installation, Plumbing, Carpentry and HAVC
\n\n\nMust have a well-rounded background in Equipment maintenance Electrical troubleshooting, PM Maintenance, Improvements to stop reoccurring problems and ability to diagnose and fix items not seen before.
\n\n\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
\n\n\nHigh School diploma, GED or equivalent, with basic reading and writing abilities. 2-4 years of experience in industrial maintenance preferred.
\n\n\nLANGUAGE SKILLS:
\n\n\nAbility to read and comprehend detailed instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
\n\n\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
\n\n\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
\n\n\nREASONING ABILITY:
\n\n\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving many variables in non-standard situations.
\n\n\nCOMPUTER SKILLS:
\n\n\nBasic internet software and word processing skills.
\n\n\nMicrosoft Word and Excel knowledge.
\n\n\nAbility to work from a computer to compete all records needed for the PM system.
\n\n\nOTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
\n\n\nHas knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
\n\n\nRelies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job as well as training and personal experience.
