This Analyst will coordinate and communicate with work centers and managers to determine task priorities and appropriate resources to realize the maximum value of the available range of operational time on a weekly basis to meet organizational goals. This position is located at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, and tasks for this position must be performed largely on-site. Responsibilities Coordinate and communicate with work centers and managers to determine task priorities and appropriate resources to realize the maximum value of the available range of operational time on a weekly basis to meet organizational goals Prepare and provide progress reports, status reports, and briefings Coordinate and communicate with senior leadership and site management regarding performance problems, issues, and improvement initiatives for Western Range (WR) and Eastern Range (ER) Prime Mission Equipment (PME) Design, develop, and perform critical assessments of maintenance processes and procedures; make recommendations for continuous process improvement and assist with implementation Manage various Operations & Maintenance (O&M) projects and perform qualitative and quantitative maintenance data analyses Research, analyze, and report on emerging negative trends to help coordinate corrective actions needed to ensure continued mission support capabilities Resolve customer concerns with analysis details and products, and respond to suggestions for improvements Assist analysts with reporting products to ensure accuracy and compliance with company quality standards Identify issues impacting the organization’s priorities and objectives and partner with management to address improvements Assist with the development and continuous improvement of departmental processes, procedures, and best practices Utilize data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality Coordinate and prioritize conflicting maintenance and integration tasks at technical work centers Coordinate maintenance with RGNext Scheduling Department, site leadership to ensure effective labor and equipment utilization, provide timely support on priority assignments, and provide conflict resolution for systems maintenance and operational readiness Investigate and resolve support issues beyond site capabilities that delay or impair a site’s ability to conduct normal day-to-day support activities. Perform analysis of maintenance trends and impacts to operational commitments Provide MxCC launch support as directed by MxCC management Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in business, education, science, math, engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of experience in technical discipline, maintenance control, resource management, business, range maintenance, and/or operations environment Valid U.S. Driver’s License or state-issued ID Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship Additional Eligibility Qualifications Occasional travel to instrumentation sites on Vandenberg AFB and Pillar Point AFS Flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel Range experience with maintenance procedures that regulate site processes for management of maintenance, safety, logistics, technical data, and security preferred Understanding of the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS), its relationship to preventive and corrective maintenance, and the computation and production of “Reliability, Maintainability, Availability” (RMA) data is preferred Understanding of Range launch requirements, range scheduling, maintenance planning, engineering actions, operations activity, and their interrelationship preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience developing and implementing work processes and efficiencies Experience supporting a dynamic work environment Ability of working independently with minimal oversight in a highly fluid environment, within a team and with other groups or customers Strong degree of professionalism, excellent organization skills, and the ability to work multiple tasks concurrently; and switch between tasks quickly Flexible and able to adapt to evolving workplace priorities in a compelling work environment; can shuffle own work schedule to nimbly adapt to workplace dynamics Strong written and verbal communications skills; detail-oriented; able to exercise tact, discretion, and diplomacy in a team environment; clear and coherent writing skills Ability to organize and lead meetings, communicate clearly with oral and written presentation, correspondence, and reports Ability to communicate technical problems concisely and professionally to technical and nontechnical audiences Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills How you’ll grow  At Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
