Summary: Responsible for managing all maintenance systems as well as improving the quality of the current system and database which support the manufacturing plant.  The successful candidate will also be engaged in & may lead the implementation of numerous initiatives for further safety and maintenance systems/program rollout as well as provide day to day administrative support towards Coaldale’s Maintenance Programs.  This role will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

 

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

Support the McCain Driving Impact Maintenance Excellence Program especially but not limited to Defect Handling and Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.Act as the SAP and Prometheus Super User for the plant.Create Notifications in SAP and Prometheus.Create and Update BOMs for existing and new site asset.Track, calculate and report Maintenance KPIs to Maintenance Manager and Team.Create, track, organize, update and manage the Engineering drawing library.Create & Update Standard Tasks in SAP (CIs, PMs, PdMs).Collect & Action Feedback from Work done.Update BOMs.Work with Vendors and contractors to help collect information and input into system for modification and/or new equipment installation.Help with Maintenance Safety Program Administration.Train & Educate Others on Maintenance Systems Tasks.Continually Optimize & Improve Maintenance Tasks.Other Duties as Assigned.

 

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Competencies)

Minimum 2 years of experience in office administration and/or maintenance system administration.Previous work in maintenance or manufacturing environment experience is not required but considered an asset.Thorough, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work with speed and accuracy.Effective communication skills (both oral and written).Understand sources of information and is able to obtain information effectively.Tact and diplomacy - ensure professionalism when dealing with internal customers and outside vendors - ability to build strong relationships.Excellent organization and planning skills.Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office and Adobe pdf.

Compensation Package: $29.97 CAD hourly

 

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
