We’re hiring a Maintenance Supervisor

As maintenance supervisor you will be responsible for all maintenance activities on the production facility as well as the field equipment, reporting to (PLM) to make sure no downtime occurs during the operations, also you will be responsible for executing capital projects in the production department, making sure that electrical standards and mechanical maintenance are done properly.

You will be responsible for maintain and fully implement maintenance software (Emaint) to manage spare parts Wearhouse and on time maintenance planning. Works with Site Leadership to set the site R&M Direction and Strategy, also be the voice of maintenance and the assets in site discussions around scheduling of asset downtime and cost to sustain the desired OEE

Accountable for safe execution of work by maintenance resources and related contractors

Ensure the organization has the knowledge, skills, and abilities to execute maintenance activities through the work management and reliability management processes

You will manage capital projects through communications with the regional capital projects team in EMEA.

You will also need to manage the maintenance department daily activity and delegate activities within team members and tech.

Report the capital projects cost monthly to finance team and site leadership, managing the maintenance department expenses, also manage all the maintenance contractors.

Uses acute understanding of the maintenance procedures and the production area process to provide analysis, give instruction, plan, compile information, and work with the maintenance organization to coordinate efforts. Draws upon significant past experiences in maintenance and in the area to make appropriate business-based decisions.

Has responsibility for assessing the quality, robustness, and capability of the process and making decisions, with others, to halt or modify production as needed should the process not meet quality and/or safety standards.

May have direct reports.

You Will Be Part of Growing Team

Seed production supply chain Egypt, this team is the most important production team in the MiddleEast in seed business as they are responsible for producing the highest quality seeds corn in the region that is supplying Egypt and MENA region market with corn seed.

Your Challenge:

To manage all the maintenance activities in the production plant, also the field equipment maintenance plan.Execute capital projects in the plant from planning till commissioning, as well as reporting the monthly expenses.Implement the maintenance software (Emaint) to follow up planned maintenance activities.Follow and implement Corteva safety standards in day-to-day activities.Lead the maintenance team members and interact with all maintenance vendors on site.Develop team members to increase department efficiency.

Main interaction within the SPSC functions,

Production Planning Manager.Quality team members to manage quality audits for the maintenance department.Seed plant operation function leads to implement proper planning for maintenance activities.Regional capital projects teams and regional maintenance leads to follow up the capital projects executions.

Cross function interaction:

Controllership team to submit expenses and capital expenditure monthly.HR business partner, to support in the team development and succession plan for the field team.Procurement and legal to manage contract and legal cases relate to field operations.

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

Bachler degree in engineering.  At least 8 years' experience in the maintenance field (industrial)Leadership skills to lead the field operation team. Excellent English language skill for communication with regional and global production teams.Excellent computer and analytical understanding.
