Dupont Towanda site has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Storeroom Specialist.

This position is responsible for organizing, maintaining, running, and stocking the maintenance storeroom. This role will also utilize SAP skills for data related to Bill of materials, equipment, and maintenance plans.  This role also includes working with Sourcing, accounts payable, and directly with vendors to assure receipt of MRO materials.

Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:

Lead for site SAP-PM capability and integrity to ensure alignment with site WMP procedures.

Gate keeper for the SAP-PM ensuring that the tool reflects the physical assets and organizational structure.

Ensures that SAP-PM facilitates the implementation of standard maintenance WMP solutions.

Works with plant maintenance, production, and technology resources to identify gaps in the use of SAP tools and the integration of other maintenance software tools to provide consistent maintenance performance.

Understand and use SAP to acquire and disburse stores material as required and to perform various materials related transactions.

Provide leadership/direction/training for operators and Maintenance personnel as needed during daily operation of storeroom.

Stewardship for a corporate credit card and monthly reconciliation of purchases of short notice needs, vendor managed items etc.

Interact with vendors. Lead resolution of any problems, concerns, needs, special requests.  Ensure actual delivery of items.

Inspection of received items to verify they meet quality and application requirements.

Perform any other administrative duties, as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS​

Requirements:

High School diploma/GED equivalent

Minimum 1 year of experience in maintenance operations and/or manufacturing/plant environment

Demonstrated abilities computer skills (SAP) and ability to adapt to a computer environment.

Ability to interface with plant personnel and vendors.

Display self-motivation.

Work with a minimum of supervision.

Possess a broad working knowledge of the plant equipment and processes.

Must be able to communicate well both written and verbally.
