Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking several highly qualified Maintenance Scheduling Manager 2 for the Ground Test & Maintenance team on the Strike program at Edwards AFB, CA.
This position will oversee the scheduling of the maintenance, servicing, repair and overhauling of multiple aircraft and aircraft systems. The selected candidates will be responsible for ensuring that scheduling maintenance for assigned aircraft are maintained. Plans, prepares, issues and controls maintenance schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet scheduled maintenance requirements. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential scheduled maintenance problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.
This position will be located 100% on-site at Edwards AFB, CA.
Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage all scheduling efforts and schedule baselines
Interface between planning and maintenance and developing an optimal schedule
Update and publish “daily dairy” maintenance log and monthly performance.
Conduct Delayed Action board and ensure all inputs and signatures are complete
Track daily maintenance schedule
Provide day-to-day hands-on support, guidance, troubleshooting, and satisfying programmatic requirements
Function as a change agent, creating an environment of trust, compliance, continuous improvement and learning
Managing multiple priorities against ambitious timelines
Ensure full compliance with corporate and sector scheduling processes and procedures, with particular focus on implementation of the NGMS Earned Value Management System

Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor Degree AND 9 years of relevant professional/military experience, OR a Master's degree and 7 years of relevant professional/military experience, OR 5 years related experience with a PhDUnderstanding and execution of Earned-Value Management (EVMS) principles and their application to complex projects.Proficiency in MS Office Programs (MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word)Must have prior management / leadership experienceMust have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.Preferred Qualifications:
Maintenance scheduling experienceFlight Test ExperienceEVMS certification Project Management experiencePrimary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
