Principal Accountabilities

70% Ensure Refrigeration, Boiler, and HVAC systems are operating properly through monitoring, PM’s and repairs

10% Maintain Boiler and refrigeration water chemistry though testing

10% Participate in activities (training, system reviews. Documentation) with the ammonia PSM program

10% Miscellaneous tasks and duties assigned

Perform repetitive or non-routine tasks. Examples include:

May operate heavy machinery (including forklift) or computer programsUse a variety of tools and retrieve partsConduct daily set-up of areaTroubleshootingWorking around or with machinery and power sources such as electricityEnsuring safety, food safety and qualityCleanliness and housekeepingMaintaining a safe working environment

Required Qualifications

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or olderAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishTechnical degree in a HVAC or ammonia refrigeration or equivalent work experience with industrial ammonia refrigerationBasic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionKnowledge of basic tools and maintenance related subjectsWillingness to participate on various teams such as HAZMATKnowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes; motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, and industrial/electronic controls.Demonstrated troubleshooting effectiveness.Strong ability to identify priories and adjust as needed.Strong ability to work independently; highly self motivated, self directed and be results oriented.

Computer skillsRETA/IIAR training and certificationPrevious experience with regulated PSM programsPrevious ammonia refrigeration experienceElectrical or mechanical experience
