Maintenance Planner/Scheduler and MRO Buyer

Organization Overview:

Maintenance Planner/Scheduler and MRO Buyer supporting Eli Lilly's GMP & ISO/IEC 17025 accredited standards laboratory which maintains calibration standards for a variety of equipment and instrumentation used throughout Lilly's laboratory and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

Planning Scheduling AssistanceThe primary role of the Planner/Scheduler is to improve work force productivity and work quality by eliminating in advance potential delays and obstacles through proper forecasting, planning and scheduling of work and manpower.Reviews current backlog and forecasted work orders to inform the technician schedule for all in-house Corporate Standards Laboratory (CSL) calibrationsSecond person verification (SPV) of vendor request forms against CMMS specificationsCoordinate parts orders, and tracks parts required for in-house calibrationsMaintains liaison and coordination between the CSL business partners and maintenance activitiesPerform other duties as required, some clerical in nature, to assist in keeping the CSL Front Office functioning effectively (equipment receipt, vendor calibration status follow-up, email customers for Pipette Services, etc.)

Data Integrity (DI):Maintain 100% compliance for equipment work order complete-to-close processChild work order creation and Job Plan verificationComplete and close all work orders through the lab with 100% second person verification (SPV)Ensure ALCOA+ principles are met for complete records (work orders, scanned certificates, etc. for paper and electronic records), and True Copy compliance for paper records (excluding GMARS Data Sheets)

MRO:Performs MRO PO generation and release, including RMA/quotes as needed, and receipt for CSL external vendor work (40% of all CSL work volume)Generation and release of Pipette POs, and update PO pricing in SAPAssist Quality Assurance with vendor approval processEnsures approved vendor updates in the vendor equipment Sharepoint siteProcesses vendor equipment through the CSL Sharepoint site including backup coverage for Pipette ServicesOrder spare parts from MRO Stores using GMARS desktop requisitionsOrder parts directly from suppliers


Basic Requirements:

Must have 2 years of Maximo CMMS, or GMARS, experience including job plans, purchase orders, desktop requisitions2 years MRO purchasing experienceFamiliarity with SAP and PO generationSome familiarity with InfoPath/Power Apps and Sharepoint sitesStrong computer skills:  Word, ExcelMust have experience using Adobe Acrobat to edit PDF filesMust be able to speak, read, and write English to a level to communicate technical information effectivelyExpected to conduct his/her business in a safe manner, following all applicable safety rules and guidelines


Additional Skills/Preferences:

Previous experience in calibration and metrology responsibilities and workflowsPrevious experience with POs for Capital Improvement Requests (CIR)Proficient with Maximo CMMS (Lilly GMARS). System permissions for all North American sites including Branchburg, RTP, and ConcordProficiency with purchasing via Buy@Lilly

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$31.37 - $52.28

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
