Maintenance Planner Scheduler Mars UK, Slough, SL1 4LGSalary: £45,000– £50,000 Performance related company bonus Hours: Mon-Fri -37.5Permanent position Job PurposeWe’re looking for a Maintenance Planner who can translate a maintenance schedule into a reality, by both managing resource and stakeholders to ensure the opportunity of available time on production equipment is maximised. The planner will also be responsible for scoping, and job managing non-routine works including contractor management, safe job management and handover to operations.
What are we looking for?Previous technical background either as a technician or engineer
Experienced PC user (SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), production planning systems.
Manufacturing environment, including experience with planning and scheduling desirable
Electrical background beneficial
What would be your key responsibilities?Manage the scheduling of planned maintenance and optimization for the maximum efficient use of production downtime
Convert maintenance requests into actionable works orders, determining resource requirements and setting the technician team up for success
Management of the works order backlog for your production area
Engaging with contract parties on behalf of Mars, ensuring that elements of our maintenance strategy that are outsourced are executed to best practice, and onsite contractors are job managed
Manage a cross-functional group of stakeholders including close cooperation with operations teams and other planners, to ensure accurate prioritization
