Maintenance Planner (On Site) Job ID 233095 Posted 13-Aug-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Engineering/Maintenance Location(s) Dearborn - Michigan - United States of America **About the Role:** As a CBRE Maintenance Planner, you will provide office administration supportand onsite maintenance for building maintenance repairs. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, whoisresponsible forproviding support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. **What** **You’ll** **Do:** + Organize work orders and assign them to individual technicians or work teams. + Plan and schedule facility-related projects from initiation through completion. + Manage and record equipment work orders using the CMMS system. + Oversee the entire work order lifecycle—including creation, tracking, and closure. + Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance activities. + Organize and lead project walkthroughs. + Facilitate collaboration between internal departments on cross-functional efforts. + Document equipment replacements and related costs. + Order supplies and materials as required. + Serve as acting supervisor during Maintenance Supervisor absences. + Ensure installations comply with safety and regulatory standards. + Support electrical upgrades and the installation of new equipment projects. + Apply knowledge of safety protocols and procedures. + Maintain positive client relationships and provide client-facing support. + Utilize expertise in skilled trades. + Coordinate the engagement and direction of appropriate subcontractors. + Work closely with Technicians to stage materials, permits, subcontractors, tools, and other resources. + Develop, maintain, and distribute workflow processes to the entire account team. + Review predictive maintenance data for trends. Provide regular reporting to the management team and client. + Perform annual reviews of preventive and predictive maintenance programs. + Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. + Impact the quality of own work. + Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. + Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding **What** **You’ll** **Need:** + Proficiency in using a CMMS to dispatch and assign work order required. + Ability to work remotely, at the central location, or at other sites as required + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. + Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems. + Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset. + Intermediate math skills.
