Your role at Clorox:
At Clorox, we are seeking a qualified candidate for our Maintenance department, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join the Atlanta Main Plant. The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for coordinating maintenance functions for assigned areas to facilitate maintaining and improving efficiency of our plant assets. The individual in this position may be called upon to work on special assignments and help to drive a zero-loss culture. This individual must be an in initiative taker, effectively influence peers, and have strong leadership and communication skills.Hourly rate: $39.42. We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package.
In this role, you will:
Planners are expected to:
Continually refine and develop their skills in planning work, which is a specialized task and needs to be supported by continual association with other planners and training.
Focus on work that has not commenced – it is their responsibility that future work will have detailed information provided in a way that provides the Technicians with the information needed to complete their assigned tasks.
Work cross-functionally to support all departments within our facility.
Follow industry standard Maintenance Planning procedures while conducting their jobs daily.
Possess enough technical knowledge, in an industrial manufacturing facility, to aid them in investigating work requests that are unclear through speaking to the requester of the work or going to the equipment identified to assess the needs.
Generate work plans that optimize time and resources weeks in advance and “on the fly”, as needed.
Misc. Tasks - Maintain Key Process Indicators; Be a supportive Team member to those in need; find ways to improve our planning or PM execution process; maintain equipment BOMs; manage equipment backlog; conduct weekly planning meetings; follow up on work completed; manage completion of all work in SAP for assigned area(s).
What we look for:
High School Diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience in manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience as a technician
3+ years of experience in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
Preferred Skills:
2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Planner
3+ years of experience in SAP
