Our Dublin Biotech site is seeking a Maintenance Planner will oversee the planning of Maintenance and Reliability activities within the site Engineering group.
As the Maintenance Planner, you will ensure productivity and quality of work by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of resources, materials and equipment access. This role will require daily interaction and communication across multiple operating functions, engineering & EHS teams and external vendors.
The successful candidate will play a key role in Sustaining Reliability & Maintenance, Shutdown, Project & Product Change over Maintenance related activities.
Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:
Take ownership of both reliability and maintenance planning for Process Equipment Areas.Development of Integrated and standardised process for maintenance planning to facilitate planned and corrective maintenance schedule adherence, product change over & multi product Introduction activities.Review all work requests and act as a gate keeper to prioritize incoming works on the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Plan all maintenance activities ensuring that the correct operational steps are documented in the CMMS system.Create work packs for execution which will include all items required to complete required work.Development and management of ‘Maintenance Ready Backlog’ ensuring spares accuracy and availability. Work with Engineering Schedular to ensure all maintenance is completed according to Master Maintenance schedule ensuing available spares, resources are available and ready.Work with EHS to review vendor RAMS to ensure the correct level of safety compliance.Development of metrics/ reports and governance of BDS PM/CM ComplianceVendor management compliance, managing service contracts and service agreements in collaboration procurement teams on site.Provide input to Budget and Asset Lifecycle Plans.Perform site walks to verify EHS and Quality standards are adhered.Develop and provide input into Standard Operating Procedures and Training materials.Identification of improvement opportunities and lead small projects.Training of staff, vendors and contractors.In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have the following skills but not essential:
Engineering/ technical discipline qualification, internship or equivalent, (sufficient experience will also suffice) evidence of continuous professional development.Previous experience with process maintenance in a biologics/ manufacturing facility or similar.Execution/planning of predictive and preventative maintenance experience preferred.Previous experience managing vendors and contractors is an advantageExcellent organising, planning, verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a cross functional collaborative environment.Ability to think logically and be proactive under pressure.Knowledge of formal problem-solving techniques, such as Lean Six Sigma tools/ MPS/ 5S.SAP/EAM/ Maximo or similar maintenance management experience.Demonstrated experience in risk assessment drafting/ reviews and approvals with understanding of high-risk activities –eg Confined Space Entry, Hot Works, Line Breaking, Electrical Switching.As a company, we are committed to 'Inventing for Life' in all that we do.
