Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and prepare schedules based on the directions of the Engineering ManagerDetermine the material and tools/equipment requirementsInsure Maintenance Planning/Scheduling needs are completed, coordinated and communicated within all functional areas including contractor & vendor management.Verify availability of required materials before scheduling work ordersCreate purchase orders for materials and replacement partsTrack status of parts and change status of work schedules based on parts availabilityMaintain and manage preventative maintenance system scheduleMaintain file systemDrive to other facilities or vendors for emergency parts pickupOther duties as assignedCompetencies:
Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with background in reliability.Customer service focusHighly organizedAbility to manage multiple tasks/projects with competing deadlinesStrong communication skills to effectively communicate with personnel of various levelsEducation/Experience:
Associate’s degree or minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing, equipment maintenance, or materials managementLanguage Skills: Must be able to read and write fluently in EnglishMathematical Skills: Must be extremely accurate with numbers. Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides; use common fractions and decimals.Computer Skills:
MS Excel/Access/Word/SAP.Demonstrated experience working with a CMMS such as Maintenance Connection, MP2, Maximo, etc. is preferred.Demonstrated experience working with an SAP is preferred.Qualifications
