Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to join our team in a food-grade plastics manufacturing facility. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our maintenance operations through effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and computer skills, a solid understanding of industrial maintenance practices, and the flexibility to assist hands-on when needed.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for all plant equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to production.Coordinate maintenance work orders and collaborate with maintenance technicians, production supervisors, and other departments to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using internal Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Order and track parts, tools, and materials needed for maintenance tasks.Analyze equipment history and maintenance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.Support compliance with food-grade manufacturing standards and safety regulations.Assist with hands-on maintenance tasks during critical downtime or when additional support is needed.Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.Train on and utilize internal systems for tracking maintenance metrics and reporting.Essential SkillsProficiency in planner and schedule planningExperience with PM schedules and maintenance ticketsAbility to read blueprints and manage work ordersProficiency in SAPStrong understanding of industrial maintenance and production schedulingComputer operation skillsExperience with maintenance parts and mechanical troubleshootingAdditional Skills & QualificationsCapability in performing root cause analysisKnowledge of preventive maintenanceExperience in industrial maintenanceFlexibility to assist hands-on when neededWhy Work Here?

This is a Permanent position based out of Decatur, Alabama.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60320.00 - $62400.00/yr.
