Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform needed maintenance on equipment and direct support of production operating needs. Evaluate equipment operation and suggest necessary action when malfunctions occur, or improvements are needed Participate in planning activities and manage various plant utilities that can include chiller, air compressor, security system & fire protection system. Complete process and preventive maintenance work orders. Capture and communicate associated data Maintain plant machinery and equipment such as mixers, conveyors, compressors, hydraulics, motors, pneumatics, automated controls and pumps Troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment. Develop knowledge of electrical and PLC troubleshooting Repair or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters, etc. as needed Set up and operate power tools, drill motor, circular saw, welders, drill press, bench grinder, band saw, hand tools and other metal working equipment Assist with fabrication and modification of new and existing equipment Comply and participate regulatory, Carlisle, & departmental policies, procedures, & standards (PSM, safety protocols, COS) As directed execute projects on an as needed basis Other duties as assigned.
