This is a highly influential role impacting the entire organization's operational efficiency and profitability. Lead a team of senior reliability professionals and strategists, providing mentorship, and training, and ensuring they effectively support regional and plant leadership in achieving asset performance goals. This includes managing performance, setting goals, and fostering a collaborative work environment. The union environment experience is crucial for navigating potential labor relations complexities. Develop and implement reliability processes, including preventative, predictive, condition-based maintenance, and corrective maintenance strategies, root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies, and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking. This requires strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of reliability engineering principles (FMEA, RCFA, RCM). Drive the adoption of predictive maintenance technologies, developing the necessary data infrastructure (CMMS, analytics platforms), and ensuring seamless integration across the organization. The role involves significant interaction with budgeting processes, justifying capital expenditures related to asset reinvestment, and optimizing maintenance costs while maximizing asset lifespan and performance. Success hinges on effectively collaborating with various stakeholders, including regional directors, plant managers, maintenance managers, global Manufacturing engineering, other business leaders, and skilled trades across multiple business units.
