Maintenance Mechanic (Manufacturing /2nd Shift)
A well-established chemical manufacturing and recycling facility in Santa Fe Springs is seeking a **Maintenance Technician** to join their 2nd shift team (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). This facility plays a key role in supporting sustainability by recycling materials for use in products serving the electronics, semiconductor, and water treatment industries. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on pumps, compressors, boilers, and rotating equipment + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems + Conduct pipe installations and repairs (PVC, CPVC, carbon/stainless steel) + Assist with equipment upgrades, process improvements, and facility projects + Maintain and calibrate sensors, controllers, and display panels + Welding, fabrication, and general mechanical tasks **Qualifications:** + Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production setting (chemical, oil, or related preferred) + Proficient in reading mechanical and electrical schematics + Familiar with PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial controls (a plus) + Able to operate forklifts and other motorized equipment + Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools + Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and wear a respirator **Education:** + High School diploma or equivalent required + HazMat experience a plus If you take pride in your technical skills and want to be part of a team that values your contribution, we encourage you to apply.
