This is where YOU fit in: Navy Lodge Moffett is in need of aMaintenance Mechanicto answer the call; a team player who is dedicated to supporting our local Naval community, and operational successes on a day to day basis. You will perform a variety of tasks which involve the upkeep and repair of the Lodge facility. Your work will make an impact and support how our organization serves the best customer – our Military patrons and their families.

So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed?

o Performs various maintenance tasks involving construction and alteration repairs of NEXCOM Hospitality Group (NHG) buildings and equipment.

o Conducts preventative maintenance and takes periodic inventory of maintenance stock and equipment.

o Performs general carpentry, painting, plumbing tasks electrical involved in the alteration, repair and maintenance of buildings or equipment including HVAC.

o Follows all local safety regulations. Informs supervisor of hazardous conditions.

o Operates motor vehicle in the performance of the duties.

The Qualifiers:

o Three years specialized experience involving trade associate with such occupations as air conditioning, refrigeration electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, painting etc.

o Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties.

o Is required to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb and work in tiring or uncomfortable positions.

o Frequently lift andcarry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

o Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors.

o Must possess a valid state driver’s license and pass a pre-employment criminal motor vehicle background check.

HazMat training required within 90 days of hire per Department of Transportation regulations

This is a flex position; scheduled less than 20 hours per week on a typical work week
