Maintenance Mechanic

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing basic maintenance and repairs to ensure that the grounds, facility, and equipment are maintained in a safe and efficient manner. This role must adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, under the direction of the Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Operate maintenance equipment safely, including tractors, forklifts, snow blowers, lawn mowers, and pickup trucks.

·         Assist with basic electrical work such as replacing receptacles, switches, light fixtures, wiring, and motors.

·         Perform basic plumbing tasks, including the repair or replacement of toilets, sinks, showers, drains, and pipes.

·         Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment such as boilers, air conditioning units, heating systems, appliances, and tools.

·         Demonstrate basic knowledge of carpentry, and general maintenance practices.

     

Qualifications:

Required:

·       High school diploma or equivalent.

·       Valid state driver's license.

·       Driving record must be within the approved insurance company’s regulations.
