The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities. The position plans, budgets and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor materials and other related costs. This position will supervise our maintenance department and up to ten (10) maintenance technicians / electricians. The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. ResponsibilitiesManaging the upkeep and equipment to meet health and safety standardsPlan and coordinate repairs should malfunctions occurObserve and monitor the optimal deployment of labor, material and timePlan and coordinate the preventative maintenance of all equipmentPlanning and coordinating all installations and refurbishmentsSupervise all maintenance technicians and external contractorsEvaluate employee through performance review, ongoing coaching and feedback methodsOversees the cleaning and maintenance of West Bend facility Qualifications Good knowledge of safety standards and machine guardingProven experience as facilities manager or relevant positionWorking experience with PM programs, scheduling and maintaining sub-contractors as needed.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational and leadership skillsGood analytical/critical thinking3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing management or facility managementBachelor degree in business preferred but not required
