SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Maintenance Manager Global SD/ AE EMD € 3.700 – € 5.000 gross per month (depending on experience) Working at Schiedam, Netherlands Mammoet has a rock-solid reputation when it comes to the quality and reliability of our equipment. The Equipment Management Department (EMD) is responsible for the best equipment and optimizing and maintaining the fleet. In this role, you will be the prime contact for the technical matters of Mammoet’s Special Devices and Auxiliary Equipment. You will be working together with the field crew, mechanics, engineering, manufacturers and other stakeholders to optimize the uptime of this strategic equipment. You will also be involved in modifications and newbuilt of equipment. Sounds like a perfect fit? Apply now! WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Special Devices is an equipment group consisting of equipment such as (strand) jacking systems, water ballast systems and other (in-house developed) equipment. In this role you will be: Setting maintenance standards and establish maintenance procedures/set-up for large scale projects. Guiding and giving advice to the colleagues maintaining these standards. Responsible for budgeting and planning the maintenance and repair activities, identify risks & opportunities, and act upon changing circumstances. Lead and supervise complex maintenance or repair projects. First point of contact for quality/warranty cases between Mammoet and our main suppliers. Keep our internal and external stakeholders informed. Advise proactively on the required actions, where you will pay close attention to long term goals and ambitions. Provide commercial consults, including underlying arguments, to decisionmakers when it comes to maintenance and repairs. As this is a Global / regional role, you will also be in close contact with the global / regional EMD peers and travel to other Mammoet locations. WHAT YOU’LL NEED A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, such as engineering, industrial engineering & management, automotive. 5+ years of broad relevant experience in a similar role. Experience with working in a project-based company in a technical and dynamic environment. English, fluent proficiency verbal and written - Dutch language skills are a plus. Ability to translate technical challenges into simple terminology and provide guidance/ direction on finding pragmatic solutions. Well organized, proactive with an eye for detail. Excellent communications skills and able to work in a multi-cultural environment. Ability to work by a project approach, having control on; scope, planning and budget Experience with SAP is a plus.
