Job DescriptionOaks Sunshine Coast Seaforth Resort is currently looking for a hard-working, dedicated and experienced individual for the role of Maintenance Manager on a full-time basis, with an immediate start available.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance and facilities management requirements at Oaks Sunshine Coast Seaforth Resort.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Lead and execute the preventative maintenance program to ensure optimal property performance.Provide hands-on support by performing repairs and maintenance as required across the property.Supervise and manage key service areas including, but not limited to, electrical, mechanical, pest control, cleaning, fire protection, security control systems, hydraulic services, and approved contractor works.Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) best practices at all times.Oversee stock control and supplier management to maintain efficient operations.Prepare quotes, schedule, and manage Capital Expenditure (Capex) requests.Support the Hotel Manager in the recruitment and development of the Maintenance department team.QualificationsThe successful applicant will have:
Previous hands-on Maintenance/Facilities Management experience, preferably in a hotel environment.Proven ability to manage and develop team members.Experience implementing a preventative maintenance program.Experience organising, consulting and negotiating with Contractors.Sound MS Office skills (including Excel spreadsheets and word documents).A passion for delivering exceptional, pro-active service.Excellent interpersonal and communications combined with impeccable presentation.Availability to work Monday - Friday, with some on call work on weekends.Building qualification will be highly regarded.Additional InformationAt Minor Hotels, we value our people as the heart of our success.
