Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee property operations at Oaks Perth Hotel. This role is perfect for someone with strong technical skills, leadership experience, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and presentation standards in a busy hotel environment.

What you’ll do:

Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations across the hotelManage preventative and reactive maintenance programsLead and support the maintenance team, contractors, and suppliersEnsure compliance with workplace health, safety, and fire regulationsMonitor budgets, stock, and reporting to ensure cost-effective operationsWork closely with hotel management to support smooth guest experiences

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in a maintenance management or supervisory role (hospitality preferred)Strong knowledge of building systems, plant, equipment, and compliance requirementsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to manage contractors and lead a small team effectivelyFlexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidaysTrade qualification or relevant technical skills highly regarded
