**Responsibilities** + Reduce operating cost through efficient operation of manufacturing and building equipment. + Create and maintain a safe work environment. + Supervise employees and activities in the Maintenance Department. + Develop and monitor preventative maintenance programs. + Set priorities for maintenance repairs. + Manage expenses for Maintenance shop and make recommendations for capital needs. + Evaluate down-time and efficiency reports. + Drive process improvements. + Work with vendors on projects. + Enforce all company policies. + Oversee new hire training and continuous training to improve efficiencies. + Complies with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements. **Qualifications** + College Degree or Technical Certificate preferred. + Knowledge of all manufacturing and building equipment including but not limited to Injection Molding machinery, auxiliary equipment, lining and assembly machines, and compression machines, preferred + Must have experience in maintaining all support equipment such as but not limited to, HVAC systems, tower and chiller systems, vacuum loading systems + Must be able to read all hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical blueprints. + Must know PLC’s and electro mechanical relay control system. + Proven ability to lead, motivate and direct employees. + Strong organizational and communication skills with proven ability to multi-task. + Possess excellent problem solving ability and good judgment. + Must have a positive attitude and be a team player. + Previous experience in Plastic Injection Molding, preferred + 3-5 years experience in similar role. + Experience / general knowledge of computer and software skills, must be able to use programs to generate reports, spreadsheets, etc.... + Abilitye to communicate effectively both written and verbal. + Ability to work safely in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.
