Our Manufacturing Excellence team help us improve the efficiency, quality and safety of our manufacturing operations, and our Logistics Excellence team develop new and innovative ways to distribute our products to customers. **About the role** We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Manager – Maintenance to lead and oversee maintenance operations in our FMCG/pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical or industrial engineering background, hands-on experience in maintenance and reliability practices, and a solid understanding of capital projects and equipment upgrades. **Your responsibilities** + Lead and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for production and utility equipment to ensure high asset availability and efficiency. + Plan and execute maintenance strategies aligned with safety, quality, and compliance standards (GMP/HSE). + Supervise a team of technicians and contractors; ensure proper skill development, safety, and performance. + Monitor equipment performance using KPIs such as OEE, MTTR, and MTBF; drive continuous improvement initiatives. + Develop and manage maintenance budgets (O&M), spare parts inventory, and vendor contracts. + Participate in planning and execution of CAPEX projects, including equipment installation, commissioning, and validation. + Ensure timely documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements (internal audits, GMP, safety protocols, etc.). + Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support cross-functional initiatives and efficiency projects. **The experience we're looking for** + Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. + Experience: 5–7 years of hands-on maintenance experience in FMCG or pharmaceutical manufacturing. + Proven experience in managing maintenance teams, utilities, and engineering stores. + Familiarity with CMMS/EAM systems (e.g., SAP PM), spare parts optimization, and asset reliability concepts. + Understanding of CAPEX budgeting, planning, and execution. + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. + Knowledge of safety and GMP compliance is essential. **The skills for success** + Certification in TPM, Six Sigma, or Reliability Engineering. + Exposure to lean manufacturing and energy efficiency projects. + Working knowledge of utilities like HVAC, compressed air, boilers, WTP, and RO systems. **What we offer** With inclusion at the heart of everything we do, working alongside our four global Employee Resource Groups, we support our people at every step of their career journey, helping them to succeed in their own individual way.
