Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of pharmaceutical production line equipment and machinery. Summary of responsibilities include machine change over, troubleshooting, repairing, performing corrective and preventive maintenance on formulation, filling, and packaging equipment. Candidate must ensure compliance with SOPs, regulatory guidelines, including Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.

Main Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair issues on pharmaceutical packaging and filling equipment to ensure reliable operation.

Pull maintenance work orders from Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and accurately document work performed in CMMS or on batch documentation

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to clean, lubricate, replace worn parts, and inspect equipment to reduce breakdowns.

Perform corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities as directed by the CMMS and supervisor.

Coordinate closely with production and planning team to perform equipment changeovers between different products or batches.

Supervise external equipment technician during shutdown preventive maintenance work.

Comply with company policies, SOPs, cGMP and OSHA requirements.

Ability to communicate and work closely with peers and other departments.

Demonstrate good organizational, written, and oral communications skills.

Participate in deviation and root cause investigations as required.

Open to shift work including overtime, nights, weekend, and holiday to support production.

Complete all required training related to technical, compliance, and safety.

HSE

It is required that individuals care for their own safety and wellbeing. Individuals must promote a safe working environment for employees and contractors working in their area of responsibility.

The individual must support all Sanofi and site HSE policies as well as ensure that work performed is compliant with local HSE regulations.

Individuals must complete all required HSE trainings. Everyone is required to report all accidents and incidents and support investigations in their areas of responsibility.

Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, standing for extended periods, working in confined space, with protective equipment.

About You

Education/Experience

High School diploma, GED, or certification in industrial maintenance

Minimum of 5 years industry experience performing maintenance on pharmaceutical, food, or regulated manufacturing facility, 10+ years of experience preferred

Understand FDA regulations and cGMP requirements

Experience with aseptic gowning or gown qualified

Proficient computer skills utilizing MS Office suite applications, Building Management Systems, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), SCADA, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

Experience using hand tools, portable power tools, and shop tools to fix and machine parts

The salary range for this position is:

$30.26 - $45.40
