Start your new career as a First Shift Lead Maintenance Technician with MAU at our client in Covington, GA. As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will oversee site maintenance and quality programs, ensure safety compliance, and provide technical support to plant operations while leading a team of MAU associates.
What We Offer: Pay of $38.00/hour Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (on-call availability as needed) Health benefits PPE provided What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years of applicable experience Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage safety programs, compliance protocols, and maintenance processes Excellent communication skills for both customer and internal team interactions Flexibility to respond to emergencies, schedule changes, and operational needs Physical ability to walk up to 6 miles daily and lift up to 15 lbs. What You’ll Do as a Lead Maintenance Technician: Serve as primary contact for customer leadership on maintenance, safety, and quality matters Oversee compliance with site-specific safety, environmental, and quality standards Lead training for new hires and maintain safety documentation Coordinate shift coverage, scheduling, and project priorities for MAU associates Investigate safety incidents, document findings, and update systems per MAU standards Conduct performance reviews and recommend process improvements Serve as on-call emergency contact for personnel injuries, equipment issues, or property damage Facilitate communication between MAU leadership and customer management teams Ensure continuous improvement in maintenance processes and operational efficiency
